Atelopus ignescens is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, rivers, arable land, and urban areas. It was believed to be the closest relative of the Carrikeri Harlequin Frog.[1]
